It was 5 generations ago in 1875 that David Morrison laid the foundations of Altrincham’s oldest name in Estate Agency. The office was based in George Street not far from Marks and Spencer.
In those days, before motorcars were commonplace, rent collection and property management was undertaken on foot, horse or via a modern invention called the bicycle! It was a daily event, spending considerable time traveling to and from Knutsford, Ashley, Lymm, Sale and Hale to advise, survey and sell and let properties in those areas.
Morrisons went on to emerge from the century as one of the most active Land Agencies in North Cheshire. Both David and his son Stanley, were Mayor of Altrincham and today, the Morrison family remains very active in the affairs of Altrincham and surrounding areas.

In our long history this is probably the area where most of our work has been devoted and we are justly proud of this reputation. Letting your home is a risk unless you are a very experienced agent. We find that most new landlords are very nervous and unsure concerning lettings, despite much recent publicity recommending renting as an alternative to selling.
We invested heavily in what we believe to be the best lettings service around. We can afford to offer our letting and management fees at current levels due to the development of our computerised property management system. We can access your tenant records or track your rental monies at the touch of a button. Internal inspections are undertaken during tenancies (if managed) and there is even a rent protection option should the tenant default in rent payments. We really do look after your property as though it was our own.
